Eden's growth team is the first point of contact for all Eden customers, putting us in a privileged position to design the first impressions and customer experience as powerfully as possible. To this end, we're constantly seeking out new ways to strengthen the core Eden value proposition (a better standard of living for Africans) while meeting growth and traction objectives.
We were nominated for the New Startup of the Year (2019-2020) by TechPoint. We take a lot of pride in our team structure, quality benchmarks - because the only way to deliver the level of quality we optimize for among our customers is to first have it occur organically in the team.
We are now setting up a media team (under the Growth team) to supply visual accompaniment to Eden's core values. In the initial stages, we think this team will work closely with our kitchen team to show customers and potential customers just how the sausage gets made, and create arresting visuals that show our company culture.
This means that as you join the media team, you'll become a key owner of Eden's brand image. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to do critical, meaningful work that goes into shaping Eden's voice and perception for years to come.
Sounds like something you'd enjoy? Here's a checklist to see if you're a great fit for this role:
- Some experience as a designer/videographer/editor.
- Excellent communication skills. You love to write and explain your thoughts. You probably own a blog!
- You like to inject a bit of yourself into every project. You don't think of yourself as a video/graphic shop - no, you're opinionated and want to ensure that everything you create hits your personal quality bar, no matter the external constraints.
- You have a strong grasp of the software (the Adobe editing suite, for example) and hardware (lights, camera, action! - ignore that last bit) relevant to your role.
We all encourage people of all experience levels to apply. We're currently hunting for an elusive creativity that transcends merely understanding the tools, so even if you're just getting started in your career, you may have the je ne sais quoi we're looking for!
Anywhere in the world for the graphic design position. Lagos state, Nigeria for the videographer/video editor role, as you'll need to shoot on-site.
